Pāua Shell Pendant
Pāua is a shell found on the coast lines of New Zealand and is recognised as taogna (treasure) to the Māori people. It's used in both traditional and more modern creations, often representing whetū (the stars), thought to be the eyes of their ancestors gazing down from the night sky.
